JADA CHRISTINE
Personal Branding
BACKGROUND
As a young woman wearing many hats, I struggled for years to blend all of my ideas into one cohesive brand image—and to do it so seamlessly that it could become my career. This is where I learned the foundational principles that make TJM successful.
After much trial and error, I’ve finally created a brand image around my name that authentically reflects who I am—without saying, “Here, look at me!”—while adding value to my audience and empowering them to show up the same way in their own lives.
I’m a hairstylist, model, minister, business owner, influencer, author, and most importantly a human—who doesn’t want to be known soley for what I can do, but for who I am. The ultimate assignment has always been to bring some light into the dark space that social media can be.
It started by separating my work into distinct profiles: First, Braids by Jada was born, where I could manage all business-related branding. Then, the JRNE was born, after realizing mini sermons and lifestyle vlogs didn’t mix well in one space.
This created room for Jada Christine to breathe—to showcase myself as a human first, and then as an entrepreneur. The term “entrepreneur” now effectively umbrellas everything I do— and left room for TJM to enter the picture, at last.
Many of my clients face this challenge as well, which is why I offer Branding and Strategy Packages designed to help them show up confidently and stay organized—both inwardly and outwardly.
The truth is—some of your audience may not want to see every part of your life—and that’s okay. Some may follow me on TikTok for encouragement, while others visit my Braiding Instagram when they want their hair done. Without giving these entities their own identity—not just the profiles, but the core brands themselves—I could have lost long-term followers who were confused by my lack of brand clarity. Now, clients and followers know exactly where to find me, without getting lost in the sauce.
Most importantly, I’ve preserved my individual identity—and my sanity—without becoming my work. If you’re a jack of all trades, it’s crucial to remember that you are a human first. Make the conscious decision to separate yourself as an individual before the business consumes you. Give your brand its own space to grow and flourish—and leave room for you.

Influencers are expected to have a media kit when communicating with brands—it’s what allows them to show up professionally and secure deals. I combined mine with an optional creator portfolio, giving brands a clear view of my work and capabilities.
